Seek out like-minded people whom you share an interest with and who are equally as ambitious as you.
Quality of People
There is a wonderful article in Forbes that talks about the types of people you should include in your network that will in turn help grow you as a person. The list includes a mentor, a coach, industry insider, trendsetter, connector, idealist, realist, visionary, partner, and the wanna-be.
Well Rounded Network
Try to think outside of your immediate industry or field. You will be surprised what you can learn from other industries that might be applicable to your own. Diversity is key. Try to add people from different industries, backgrounds, age groups, ethnic groups, etc.
